ReEnergize Garfield CountyDrop in for this informational session to learn if you qualify for the new ReEnergize Garfield County program, which has $150,000 to give out for home energy upgrades in 2022. The program provides a one-stop-shop for low- and middle-income residents seeking to lower their utility bills and address health and safety issues. Depending on income, households may receive up to 100% of the cost of recommended energy measures such as insulation, air sealing, window replacement, heating/cooling system upgrade and LED lighting. On Wednesday, March 2, Valley View physical therapists and ValleyOrtho athletic trainers present “ACL Lab: Exercises and Tips to Help You Recover,” a virtual discussion via Zoom. The presentation is part of Valley View University (VVU), a series of free educational webinars hosted by Valley View.
 
In this second 20-minute webinar, followed by an open Q&A, Valley View will review tips for recovering from ACL injuries and safely returning to normal activities. Valley View physical therapists and ValleyOrtho athletic trainers will provide exercises and rehab tips to keep people active and allow them to enjoy the activities that they love. There will be active demonstrations and Q&A with the hosts and special guest, ValleyOrtho Surgeon Tomas Pevny, MD.
 
Dr. Pevny, who has been practicing in Aspen since 1995, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee and shoulder injuries, sports medicine, trauma, total joint replacement and joint preservation.

The Town of Silt is holding a candidate forum on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.  Each of the 5 candidates will provide a brief introduction after which candidates will be asked questions with no more than 3 minutes to respond.

Citizens are welcome to attend in person.  Citizens will also be able to view a playback of the forum on Silt's access channel as well as their website.
