Valley View, an independent, nonprofit health system based in Glenwood Springs, Colo., is pleased to invite the community to its virtual Community Town Hall via Zoom on Thursday, May 1, from 12 to 1 p.m. MT. The discussion will be led by Valley View leaders.
Valley View is proud to serve its patients and understands there are many health needs in the community. During this virtual event, Valley View will share its recent work and investments to benefit the health and well-being of the community. In addition to learning about the organization’s activities in 2024, Valley View will share a new Community Health Needs Assessment and discuss its ongoing strategy for the upcoming year. Viewers are invited to ask questions and share their perspectives on the community's health.
Real-time Spanish translation is available.
We will have live entertainment, band and an Jalapeno eating contest. Stop by and bring the whole family the evening off. $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Ages 10 and under are FREE.
MayFest is a youth-led initiative sponsored by the Jonathan D. and Marc C. Lewis Foundatoin. The event is designed to bring youth, their families, and community organizations together to learn about local resources, career opportunities, and internships, all while enjoying a day of fun activities such as a 5k Run (benefiting Suicide Prevention Coalition of Garfield County), dancers, Show and Shine (car show), Battle of the Bands, and much more.
We would love for your organization or business to set up a booth at the event. You can provide information about your organization, including resources for youth and their families, or sell your products. If you would like to have a booth at the event RSVP by April 15th to confirm your participation as a trinket vendor or local organization/business. If you would like to register for Battle of the Bands, please visit https://forms.gle/pSfi1TBwPz3kvV1t9
In addition to booth participation, there are other ways you can contribute, including making a monetary donation to the event or providing donated items for participant drawings to win throughout the day.
